Conan O'Brien's Editors Love Final Cut Pro X | Editing Blog

Apple’s new Final Cut Pro release has been met with a lot of negative reviews.  Final Cut Pro X is a completely rebuilt and redesigned version of the software at a much cheaper price.  It sounded exciting at the time.  I haven’t had a chance to work with the new software yet but I’m thinking I may just hold onto my existing version for now.  I’m sure future versions will remedy some of the issues at hand.  A change this drastic was bound to anger some but I have to admit, I didn’t think it would be met with this type of reaction.

This review over at CNN sums it up pretty nicely.

There is even a petition out there called: Final Cut Pro X Is NOT A Professional Application.

Check out this hilarious video Conan O’Brien’s editors put together.  Nice!

Still, I have to be honest.  I’m looking forward to trying it out.  I just don’t want to buy it.
