10 Flicks: Bad Ass Movies 2
Bad Ass Movies was the first 10 Flicks list I made for this blog. Many have come since then but the original Bad Ass Movies remains among the highest ranking posts I’ve created.
So why not follow it up with an equally bad ass sequel?
Who doesn’t love a good action film, a gangster story or an unrelenting epic? I can go on for hours about how much I love watching movies like these.
Here are 10 MORE bad ass movies!
A Bronx Tale
I find this movie is lesser known than some of the big Scorsese pictures but as far as gangster movies go, it’s one of the best.
Usual Suspects
If there is a movie that I regretted not including on the first list it’s The Usual Suspects. It’s an incredible story with an ambitious twist that will leave you stunned.
Sin City
This is a FUN movie to watch. Plain and simple. So over the top you can’t help but smile at the bad-assery. Not to mention it’s got one of the coolest looks of any film on this list.
Kill Bill
Quentin Tarantino shares the spotlight with Martin Scorsese as the most bad ass directors on the planet. Kill Bill is an amazingly original and entertaining revenge story with tons of B.A moments.
Casino Royale
Some may be surprised that I included a Bond film but I honestly LOVE this movie. I think it’s the best James Bond I’ve ever seen. The first chase alone makes it impossible to leave off this list.
Fight Club
Ah Fight Club. The ultimate guy movie. Such a messed up story. This is another film I wished I had room for on the first list.
Gladiator
What really needs to be said here? Gladiator is a perfect movie.
The Departed
I’m so happy that Martin Scorsese finally got his Oscar.
Casino
Anyone else shocked that I’m mentioning Martin Scorsese again?
A History Of Violence
This movie came out of no where and kicked my ass. I was blown away. I still am. I’ve gotta watch this movie again.
