A NEW TRAILER ARRIVES! A NEW ADVENTURE AWAITS!

As part of Tolkien week, Peter Jackson has just unleashed a brand new trailer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.  Finally some new footage!  The first trailer was similar and focused on introducing the Dwarves and Bag End.  This new reel gives us a better look at Middle Earth and tons of action.

On to some of the best moments:

5. Dwarves are funny.

“You’ve got to be joking.”

4. Gandalf on fire.

You shall not burn this tree down!

3.  New creatures.

I can’t wait to see Smaug but there are enough new creatures in this trailer to hold us over until December.  (Assuming we get to see him in the first film.)

2.  New places.  Old friends.

“Home is now behind you.  The world is ahead.”

Middle Earth.  It’s good to see you again.

1. Gollum

“We eats it whole.”

We all loved Gollum and this moment certainly brings back memories.  One of the greatest characters in modern movies returns in a few months!

It’s hard to believe The Fellowship of the Ring arrived nearly 11 years ago.  Time flies.
