The Final Rainy Sunday: The Beauty Of Lazy Day Movies

Rainy Sundays was one of the first features I created for this blog.

It was about appreciated those lazy days when you put on your favorite movies and escape.

Who doesn’t love a good Sunday afternoon indoors watching movies?

Personally, my ideal Rainy Sunday includes a good drama, a comforter, a massive sandwich or pizza and some form of candy.  It’s even better when there’s enough time to sneak in a double feature.

What movies do you love to watch on rainy days?

After more than 30 picks, I’ve decided to move on so this will be the FINAL Rainy Sunday post.

Below you’ll find the complete Rainy Sunday Series.

Perhaps, I’ll resurrect the feature someday but I think I’ve made my point.  There’s nothing like a good movie on a lazy day.

Rainy Sundays Movie Picks

For the first time, my Rainy Sundays pick is a lazy day double feature.

Toy Story is easily my favorite Pixar movie of all time and it’s sequel it’s equally impressive.  (Although with Pixar everything is impressive.)

Side Note: Click here for the all time best Pixar Character.

With the third installment rocking theaters in 3D right now, I thought going back and watching the first two installments would be a perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Toy Story Double Feature

Toy Story blew me away the first time I saw it.

I couldn’t believe what I was watching.  The first computer animated movie with an incredibly entertaining and touching story.  Pixar films truly embody what this feature is all about.

Movies are meant to take you away to another world and ignite your imagination.  What better way to spend a lazy afternoon?  Especially if it’s raining on a laid back Sunday.

Look no further than Toy Story and it’s masterful sequel if you are looking to kick back with a couple of good movies on a quiet lazy day.
